This large and comfortable cottage is set a very quiet and rural position on the edge of the village of Gatehouse-of-Fleet. It is a cedar-clad single storey building set within a three quarter acre garden providing stunning views over the countryside and hills of this lovely part of Dumfries and Galloway.

The cottage has three bedrooms and can sleep up to 6 people, a large sunroom and a recently refurbished kitchen. The garden has plenty of wildlife, with lots of birds, squirrels and occasionally deer as visitors and plenty of seating to relax and take in the views.

Craiglure is very close to the town of Gatehouse-of-Fleet which has a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. It is easily accessible from the A75 Carlisle to Stranraer route, and is within a short driving distance of the towns of Newton Stewart, Castle Douglas, Kirkcudbright and Dumfries.

The cottage is walker and cyclist friendly and is centrally positioned for access to the 7Stanes mountain-biking centres at Glentrool, Kirroughree and Dalbeattie. Secure storage for bikes is provided in the garage at the cottage.
